With the major upgrade to Monash Universities’ Collins Street site in the Docklands, Falinc was commissioned to produce deckchairs for indoor use in student breakout areas.
In line with Multiplex guidelines, a fire retardant canvas compliant to Australian Fire Safety Standards was sourced for the deckchairs. A thicker, stiffer canvas than usual, it required specialty sewing equipment to complete the project to our exacting standards. The deckchairs sit on Level 10 at 750 Collins Street.
